H0e and Z scale Mini Meet

In the weekend 17-18 nov. 2018 a Mini Meet was held in Oslo arranged by Hans Henrik Riddervold.
He is the man behind The UHB rolling stock from 1994-96 and later a wast development of american Z zcale through AZL (American Z Line). Participants were Svein Martin Holt , Tor-Jørgen Moskaug (Torsja) from Norway and the german modeller Karl Sinn all with Small Z scale dioramas. Also from Norway Tertittkameratene with their Fremo modules/sections. ( Knut E. Kittelsen and Christer Ritterberg with Stein R. Pünther)

Here is a link to Svein Martins fine pictures from the Mini Meet:

Finstadbru

The work with Finstadbru stasjon and sawmill area is  progressing. All the woodwork to the sections are made. All parts are cut after my drawings at a commercial woodworking firm utilising a CNC Mill
It was costly but valuable. Here is two pictures of the test assembly in oktober:

Finstadbru Kassefabrikk (Crate factory)

Referring to the  Air photo of Finstadbru , the building is to the left towards bottom. To aid in the constucting of the model I use the air photo (ca 1954), older maps of the area (the footprint) and a photo from Digital Museum  At the back in the photo
Thats about all I have, but I think the size and form will be reasonable correct. Another photo in Digital Museum from ca 1955 show the then newly built saw building with a siding for UHB
Sidesporet til C.H.Aanerud sag og høvleri på Finstadbru er ferdig.
This building also shows in the air photo at middle bottom.

This gave me the idea to make a play wit empty and full wagons in and out of the two buildings.
They are about equal in foot print.  This will make more interesting trafic in Fremo context.

For each building I reserve a space in the middle that can hold 2x3 bogie flats on a travers with two tracks, one for empties and one for loaded wagons. On the end nearest the siding and connected to it, there will be a room for one wagon, loaded or empty. On the other side some interior vill be visible through openings and windows.

Here is the model of the Kassefabrikk so far:

Mork meieri

Christer wanted this building for a small siding at one of his modules. It is a Funkis inspired building near Mork station on UHB. it was built about 1938. Here is some info of the building:
Mork meieri The building still stands in a somewhat changed form.

So I have used a lot of time to find out how it looked originally and here is the result so far on paper. It is now ready for 3D printing (another heavy task).
